The Fort St. John Energy Expo is now underway at the Pomeroy Hotel.
The Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers and the British Columbia Government have organized the event, which they hope will lead to more local employment.

Steve Dunk is the B.C. Manager of Operations from C.A.P.P., and says his group and his industry have completed studies that suggest production in this area will double by 2020.

The Expo runs from 10-6 on Wednesday, and from 10-7 on Thursday, when there will be several capacity workshops.
