Friends and family of a hit and run victim will come together to celebrate his life on Wednesday.

On Tuesday May 11th, 14 year-old Teddy Lou was riding his bike down 76th street when he was struck by a red vehicle heading westbound on 89th avenue.  Friends and family are organizing a public memorial at Duncan Cran School (located on 89th avenue) on Wednesday May 19th starting at 7:00pm.

Police are still searching for the vehicle involved.  The vehicle is described as a red mid-sized vehicle with minor damage to the passenger side.  The RCMP hope further witness interviews will help police narrow down precisely what type of vehicle they should be searching for.

If you have any info about this hit and run, please contact the RCMP at 250-787-8100 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at
