A Grande Prairie based manager of agrinomic services, for Regina based Viterra, says spring seeding in the Peace is nearing completion, and the rain in this week’s forecast couldn’t come at a better time.
Christina Polziehn says with the exception of Alberta’s High Level area, north of Peace River, the entire Peace Region is dry and in need of moisture.
However, she also says its still too early to raise new drought concerns…
