The Chair of Social Work at the University of Northern British Columbia will be speaking in Fort St. John tonight.
Dawn Hemingway is the 11th speaker in the community speaker series, of the University’s Community Development Institute.
The Institute conducts research on a variety of topics with northern BC communities, and hosts speakers on issues of relevance to the region.
The title of professor Hemingway’s address is “Boom or Bust: Northern Communities Must Have Social Infrastructure”.
It is scheduled to begin at seven o’clock in room 202, of the Northern Lights College campus.
