It’s time to get down and dirty.
The third annual Mud Bog splashes into Fort St. John this weekend, in what is becoming a Peace Country Mother’s Day tradition.
Various trucks, bikes, and quads will attempt to navigate the giant swamp on Saturday and Sunday, starting at around 10:30 both days.
Parking will again be restricted to the Formula Powell yard on the Alaska Highway, with shuttle buses ready to take spectators to the mud bog from there.
This year the Mud Bog will feature Canadian Freestyle Motocross Champions Reagan Sieg and Jeff Fehr.
Individual tickets start at $15 for an adult day pass, and run up to $70 for a full-weekend family pass. See more on the pricing and parking rules.
Tickets can be purchased in advance, at the Alaska Highway News, Driving Force, or the Visitors’ Info Centre. They will also be available on site (cash only). Specators are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs.
