The former mayor of Revelstoke will be coming to Fort St. John next week, to talk about his experience dealing with hydroelectric dams.
Sid Parker will be holding a lecture at the Northern Lights College.
NLC spokesperson Steve Roe says the educational speech comes at a convenient time.

Roe says he predicts there will be a lot of residents interested in the lecture, because of the looming Site-C project.
But, Roe says Parker’s speech will take a non-partisan approach, and will simply be an educational seminar for participants.
