The owner of A-1 Brake has confirmed that his shop was broken into this weekend.
Maurice Cote says, at some point between Saturday evening and Sunday morning, an unknown number of thieves ripped open the back door of the trailer at his business, at 10609 East Bypass Road.
Once inside, the perpetrator(s) took only a blue Clark mig-welder and a battery charger, leaving plenty of other valuable tools and equipment.
He says the stolen items were worth around $1500, and he is offering a reward for their return.
A police news release was sent out on Wednesday, confirming the incident did occur.
