The North Peace Cultural Centre is proud to present Canadian Country artist Jason Blaine – in Concert, Monday May 3rd.

Listen to Moose FM for your chance to win ticket to see the show and you’ll also get a special chance to go back stage and meet Jason Blaine!  Just listen for the cue to call anytime between now and Monday and if you’re the right caller, you win a pair of tickets and a special meet and greet pass.

With national success from singles That’s What I Do, Heartache Like Mine, While We Were Waiting and What I Can’t Forget (Top 10 CMT and Top 20 at radio nationally), Jason decided to follow his dreams south to Nashville, Tennessee. Landing a sweet publishing deal which allowed him to write on a daily basis with some of finest writers in Nashville, he penned an impressive collection of 12 songs that formed his 2007 album “MAKE MY MOVE”. Produced by veteran producers Phil O’Donnell and Noah Gordon, MAKE MY MOVE kicked Jason’s Canadian career into high-gear turning out five Top 10 radio singles and back-to-back #1 videos on CMT Canada. As a result, Jason also earned several CCMA nominations including “rising star” (2007 & 2008) and “male artist of the year” (2009).

No big surprise that 2010 has ramped up even more success! His brand new release “Sweet Sundown” landed on iTunes at #9 in the Canadian Country Albums category – in its first day! The 1st single from Sweet Sundown “Numb’ cracked the Top 10 on Country Radio and CMT is working with Jason on a new single and video for the summer. And…between now and summer, you can see Jason live on stage on the Brooks and Dunn’s final Canadian tour (oh yeah, Brooks and Dunn will be there too) and on his CMT special “Jason Blaine – 4 Tracks” on May 22nd, featuring an intimate performance of 4 new songs from the new CD, plus an in-depth interview about the new tunes.

But more importantly, lucky North Peace fans can have their own intimate LIVE preview right here Fort St John when Jason Blaine and band bring his new hits to the North Peace Cultural Center theatre. Be sure to check’em out. Bar and refreshments open at 6:15, show at 7:00.
