It’s taken nearly ten months, but after a lengthy RCMP investigation charges have been laid in connection with a single vehicle Highway 29 crash south of Chetwynd.

Raymond Leo Sanche of Tumbler Ridge was the driver of a south bound vehicle, that left the highway and ended up on it’s side in the ditch, across from the Natural Springs Golf Course, on June 25th of last year.
A front seated passenger Sheldon Young was killed and another passenger in a rear seat suffered minor injuries.
Police say illegal drugs, liquor and excessive speed were all crash factors and the accused will appear in provincial court May 20th.
He faces charges of Dangerous Driving Causing Death and Impaired Driving Causing Death.
