With the stated objective of extending the reach and speed of its advanced wireline and wireless broadband services, Telus has confirmed it will invest $850,000 in Fort St. John this year.

Its part of a $650 million investment program across the province by the company, which says in the past decade it has invested $22 billion in BC infrastructure and operations.
Over the same period, it also claims contributions to charitable and community organizations in Fort St. John of more than $20,000.
Telus was recently recognized globally as the 2010 Most Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation…the first time a Canadian company has ever received that international honor.
