One Fort St. John realtor has high hopes for the City’s housing market in 2010.

Trevor Bolin discussed the topic on Moose FM’s Issues and Answers on Wednesday morning.

He says while the market is slowly growing, homes are selling at a reliable rate.

Bolin explains that on average, a home is taking around 67 days to sell, which he says is a lot faster than it was in 2009.

And he says apartments are another hot commodity. He adds the economy will play a vital role in rental availability.

Bolin says Fort St. John has undergone a miraculous recovery, considering it was the last area hit by the recession.

He also predicts mortgage prices will increase, but at a sustainable rate.
