The Senior Flyers’ leading goal scorer was not in the lineup this weekend, as the Flyers took on the Whitehorse Huskies for a two-game exhibition set in the Yukon.
Instead, Fort St. John’s speedster was in Quebec City, competing at the Red Bull Crashed Ice World Championship.
Horst ended up posting the fastest time in qualifying, eventually advancing the the consolation final, which he won. That gives him a fifth place overall finish.
On Monday, Moose FM interviewed Horst about the experience, as he traveled back to Fort St. John. Click here to listen to that interview.
