Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Fort St. John is kicking off a fundraiser that’s sure to be up your alley.
The 19th annual ‘Bowl for Kids Sake’ is set for April 25th, and the organization is encouraging residents to register a team.
BBBS hopes to raise $25,000, which amounts to roughly a third of the local group’s annual gross revenue.
Executive Director Danielle Armstrong says the BBBS’s mentoring program continues to grow, and last year the group mentored the most kids in the organization’s 25 year history.
