Fort St. John Mayor Bruce Lantz says today’s public meeting at the Enerplex is an ideal time for property owners to learn more, about looming 2010 tax hikes.
He’s already on record indicating, the city is into a belt tightening exercise, and will put off what he’s called a number of key, capital infrastructure projects, in an attempt to keep taxes as low as possible…
Meantime, with neither the operational nor capital budgets finalized the Mayor says, there’s still plenty of time and opportunity for the public to ask questions and voice concerns.
Today’s meeting is scheduled to start at 5pm.
