Free transit route for Olympic Torch relay

One bus route will be on the house when the Olympic torch comes to town.

The Olympic Torch Relay Committee announced on Friday that there will be free transit from Safeway to Centennial Park. The bus will provide transportation for passengers at the south side of the Safeway Parking lot, and drop patrons off at Centennial park.

The bus will be making a continuous loop between 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Final Torchbearer Ross H. MacLean will be lighting the cauldron at Centennial Park, at approximately 6:30 p.m.

The Fort St. John Olympic Torch Relay will be in the City on January 31st, and the relay begins at 5:48 p.m.
