The Fort St. John RCMP say they are trying to locate the driver of a pick-up truck, which drove into a ditch on Tuesday afternoon.

At around 2:15 p.m., police and fire crews were called to the accident on 100th street, near the Northern Lights College.

Constable Smith with the local RCMP says when police arrived, only one passenger was at the scene.

Smith says the RCMP believe that the driver of the truck left the scene. Smith says the owner of the truck is a Fort St. John resident.

He says witnesses have told police that there were four people in the truck at the time of the crash.

There is a minor delay to Northbound traffic on 100th Street while the truck is being removed from the scene.
