The Dawson Creek Air Cadets welcomed a new Commanding Officer on Tuesday.

Captain Dana Braun took command of the 353 Mile Zero Air Cadets on Tuesday from Lieutenant Tim Kurtenbach.

To celebrate, the Air Cadets held a ceremony at the Cadet’s meeting space, which is in the basement of the old post office in Dawson Creek.

Organizers say the ceremony was well attended by league officials and parents of the cadets.

Those interested in joining the Air Cadet programme, are invited to come out on Tuesday nights at 6:30 p.m. to the Old Post Office. Or visit www.cadets.ca for more information.
