The preliminary damage estimate from the City Fire Chief, is "pretty close to a million dollars," following an overnight fire, on the southern outskirts of Fort St. John.

Fred Burrows confirmed this morning that fire-fighters responded to an alarm just before midnight, at a location on 100th street south, where it turns into the 265 road.
