Land Rights sale nets 20 million

It now appears October’s 370 million dollar sale, of oil and gas land rights in Northeast BC, was a 2009 single month anomaly.

That’s because yesterday’s November sale, resulted in less than 20 million dollars in bonus bids.

That leaves the year-to-date total, at about 720 million, meaning that the October sale was bigger, than the combined total, of the other ten months of this year. It also, almost certainly means, the 2009 total will be less than half, of last year’s record, calendar year total, of more than 2.6 billion dollars.
