A life-saving course is being offered next week, and it won’t cost the public a dime.
The local St. John Ambulance is holding their 4th Annual Community CPR Day on November 21st. Those who pre-register get free cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training, which originally costs $75.00.
Branch Manager Tina Westergaard says the session ensures that more residents are trained to save lives.

Upon completion of the four-hour course, participants will get a certificate, a St. John Ambulance CPR book and grab bag containing a wallet first aid kit.
The Fort St. John branch will offer two courses, a CPR-A, (resusitating adults), and CPR-B, (for saving adults, children and infants)
Westergaard says the training will also include YOYO-72, or You’re On Your Own for 72 hours.
