Two people face charges following Dawson Creek drug bust

Another drug bust in Dawson Creek has resulted in two people being charged.

On the morning of September 25th, the Dawson Creek RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence at 92nd Avenue.

Police found crack cocaine, cannabis and prescription pills in the home.

Twenty-six year old Robert Smith and 18 year old April Johnson have been charged with multiple drug offences. Johnson has since been released on bail with conditions pending her first court appearance.

Smith remains in custody pending his trial.

Officers continue to urge the public to report any suspected drug activity to the local authorities.
