The Grande Prairie RCMP have arrested a 43 year-old woman following the investigation of a stolen vehicle from Edmonton.

On September 3rd, the Grande Prairie RCMP Drug Section seized a 2007 Jeep Compass reportedly stolen from Edmonton.  Inside the vehicle was 14 grams of cocaine, 51 Oxycontin tablets and $2,760 in cash.

Tracy Allison Clark, 43, of Clairmont, Alberta is charged with 2 counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Stolen Property over $ 5000.00, as well as 4 counts of breaching conditions of a previous release.   Clark is currently in custody and is to appear in Grande Prairie Court on September 9, 2009 at 9 a.m.

When consumed, the RCMP say 14 grams of cocaine would yield approximately 140 individual uses. Oxycontin, a derivative of the Opium Poppy and a pharmaceutical painkiller that must be prescribed by a physician, is often sold and consumed illegally.
