Weather clears for BBC time trial

The weather cleared off in time for the Blizzard Bike Club time trial in Baldonnel at 7pm on Thursday evening, Jul 2nd. In the 8km distance Tristan Bourassa was in second place with 26:50 and his grandmother Barb Polehoykie first at 26:21.

In the 16km distance in top place was Bob Andrews with 25:29, second was Gil Bilodeau with 25:54, third Roger St. Jean with 26:08, fourth Les Elliot in 26:54 and fifth place Kevin shaw at 28:15.

Other times for the evening were Sam Keats 28:42, Simon Andrews 29:18, Ken Nix 29:37, Kevin Fell Jr. 29:42, Adam Bilodeau 30:17, Owen Giebelhaus 30:42, Rob Churchill 31:27, Adam Currie 32:16, Larry Joyce 33:05, and Brandon Joyce 33:41.

The BBC is back in action this weekend, with a Cecil Lake road race on Sunday. A few members will also head to Stony Plain, for the half-ironman triathlon, while Colter Young is in Beauce (rhymes with Dose) Quebec, for the junior national championships
