Local businessman nominated for Ernst and Young award

A local businessman is nominated for an Ernst and Young Prairies 2009 Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Randy Gee, President of Randy Gee Holdings, is nominated for the prestigious award in the Business Category.

Gee owns companies like the North Cariboo Airline and part of the Eco-Depot. He says he has been buying and selling companies for a while now.

The North Cariboo Air company provides services primarily for the oil and gas industry.

The Ernst and Young Awards are meant to honor leaders who foster the innovative thinking and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Gee says he is honored to be nominated for the award.

Winners will be announced on October 15th in Calgary. The overall winner will represent the region at the national banquet held in Vancouver on November 24th.
