We are now just over three days away from the start of the Sunday’s Air Show…the first one in Fort St. John, since more than eight thousand attended, back in 2007.

Tickets are still available at Petron Communications, the Quality Inn Northern Grand Hotel and the Visitor Information Centre.

In addition on Sunday, you’ll be able to get them at the North Peace Arena, the Air Show Gate and they’re still available on line at, where you can also go to volunteer to help.

Airport gates open at 11am, and that’s also the start time for the free round-trip shuttle bus service from the Arena. On-site parking will cost $15 per vehicle and for spectator access you’re advised to take 100th avenue to the airport or 255 road.

The public is also once again reminded there is no on-site smoking and pets and hard sided coolers will not be permitted on site.

The show is scheduled to start at 1.30pm and it is estimated it will end with the Snowbirds performance, at about 4:20.
