Shortly after 9:30 Saturday morning, Grande Prairie RCMP responded to a complaint of mischief to and theft from a motor vehicle which was parked at an eating establishment in the north end of Grande Prairie.

Police were able to identify a suspect vehicle and later located it, abandoned at a nearby location. Queries revealed the vehicle was stolen and suspects were described by witnesses.

Moments later, police located the three suspects. One suspect fled, but was apprehended with the assistance of the Grande Prairie RCMP Police Dog Section.

In custody are two 19 year old men and a 15 year old youth all from Dawson Creek.

The investigation continues and charges are pending.
