Epcor looks at Wind Power near Tumbler Ridge

Epcor Utilities Incorporated has announced today that its application for an Environmental Assessment Certificate for the Quality Wind Project in the South Peace has been accepted for review by the BC Environmental Assessment Office.

The 142 point two megawatt project is proposed for an area about 10 kilometers northeast of Tumbler Ridge.

A 180 day review process is underway to examine the project’s potential impacts and public input open house sessions are scheduled for June 24th and 25th in Tumbler Ridge and Dawson Creek.
