It’s finally Election Day in British Columbia and the leaders of the two major parties are now focussing on the same theme…get the voters to the polls.

Province-wide the polls are open today from 8am to 8pm and once again you’re reminded here in Fort St. John you can vote at the Seniors Hall and the Stonebridge Hotel on 100th street…the Pomeroy Hotel at 11308, Alaska Road North…or, until 4pm, at the District Electoral office at 10016, 106th street.

Outside the city, there will be polling stations at the Municipal Office and Community Hall in Taylor…the Baldonnel Elementary School…the Buick Creek Community Club…the Cecil Lake Community Hall…the Charlie Lake Community Hall…the Montney Recreation Hall…Neighbors Inn in Prophet River…the Rose Prairie Curling Club…the Prespatou School…Sasquatch Crossing at Pink Mountain…the Toad River Community Hall…the Wonowon Post Office… and, the Pearkes Centre in Hudson’s Hope.
