The second Blizzard Bike club Duathlon took place May 5, 2009 at Baldonnal on a cool, windy and cloudy evening. After race two in the Five Duathlon Series we have a tie for top points. First in the male division is Billy Bucknall, Gord Harris and Roger St. Jean all tied with 5 points. In the female division we have a tie with Sandy McDonald and Kathryn Fairweather tied with 9 points total. In this week’s Duathlon times were as follows: Gord Harris 31:02, Sandy McDonald 33:37 (a personal best), Kathryn Fairweather 34:14, Becky Keim 34:49 (a personal best) , Roger St. Jean 35:19, Owen Giebelhaus 35:23, Simon Andrews 37:39, Lisa Verbisky 40:07, Floyd Polehoykie 40:50 (a personal best), and Rob Churchill 47:57. Thanks to our timers Pat and Bob Andrews.
The next duathlon will be on tuesday May 12th at 7PM at Baldonnal School.
