Fire crews have the Peterson Crossing fire pretty much under control.
Fire Information officer Jillian Chimko, from the Prince George Fire Centre, says fire crews have the fire 80 percent under control.

Chimko says the fire is 110 hectares in size. She also says the fire isn’t close to any oil and gas facilities.
She says one camp is under watch, but the fire isn’t expected to reach it. The Fire Centre is reporting small fire by Wonowon.
Fire crews have been sent to tackle the blaze, which is just one hectare in size.
