A local principal is spearheading the second annual parent conference in Fort St. John.

Alwin Holland School Principal Lily Frey says parents with newborn children to adolescents will benefit from the conference. She says the goal of the conference is to get parents more involved in their children’s education.

Dr. Lori Hogg will be the keynote speaker at the conference. Hogg works in the Foothills hospital in Calgary. She will be speaking on the topic of brain development and the effects on the brain from recreational drug use.
