Arts Council hosts Bookmark Party on Tuesday

It’s not every day you get something for free, but here’s your chance.

The Fort St. John Community Arts Council wants to give you a free limited edition bookmark.

The Council is holding a Bookmark Party on Tuesday, April 21st at the Fort St. John Public Library.

Artists from last year’s Art That Moves You project will be there, along with the original ’08 ‘Freedom to Roam’ panels.

Executive Director Tara O’Donnell says the images are now on bookmarks.

She says the Council will be giving them out on a first come, first served basis.

She says she is always impressed with the level of talent within the community.

The party is in celebration of the 10th annual BC Arts and Culture Week on April 19th to 25th.

O’Donnell says everyone should attend the free party.
