The Northern Environmental Action Team will be celebrating Earth Hour this Saturday.
Earth Hour is a National event which encourages millions of Canadians to turn off their lights on March 28th from 8:30pm to 9:30pm.

Last year everyother Canadian turned off their lights in honour of Earth Hour. All the municipalities in Northeastern BC will be participating in the event by turning off as many lights in their facilities as possible.

In Fort St. John the event will take place at Whole Wheat and Honey Cafe. NEAT is also encouraging anyone who is planning on taking part in a Earth Hour celebration to walk instead of driving.
