NDI Trust funds highschool training

The Northern Development Initiative Trust has given out $540,000 to help the Northern Opportunities program.

The program is an innovative partnership involving among others, Northeast Region School Districts, B.C.I.T and the Fort Nelson First Nation. It enables youth in northeastern BC to receive trades and technical training, while still in High School. The program not only assists those who successfully complete it, to graduate from high school, but to also, in many cases, transition from graduation right into a career.
