The Fort St. John RCMP and the Taylor Fire Department responded to a report of a fire inside an apartment building in Taylor.
The fire was located at 10548 102nd Street in Taylor. The fire started in a vacant apartment on the second floor. The fire was first noticed by three tenants on the third floor who began knocking on doors warning the other tenants, who then pulled the fire alarm and called 911.
The fire was contained to the bedroom and the hallway of the apartment. The fire was extinguished quickly by the Fire Department with minimal fire, smoke and water damage.
This fire is being treated as suspicious. If you have any information about this fire please call the Taylor Fire Department or the Fort St. John RCMP. You can also contact Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
