Thanks to a couple of tips…we have learned there is a detour on the Alaska Highway.
The RCMP won’t provide us with anymore information than to say there has been an accident on the Alaska Highway near the North Taylor Hill. People in the area say there is a detour but the it’s slow moving. The detour listed by the Ministry of Transportation is as follows:
Detour via Road #105 to Road #107 to Road #255 to re-enter Highway 97.
The RCMP won’t say how long this detour will last.
