The Child Development Centre held it’s annual Talent show Friday night at the NPCC.
In total over $137,000 was raised for the CDC between the Talent show and the 5th annual Arctech Welding and Machining a Day for the Kids. The had hoped to raise over $200,00 between the two events.
The money will be put towards Project Build a Fort, which will see the CDC almost double in size. Construction on the new building began last summer and will continue for at least another year. The CDC will kick off a major fundraising campaign in the coming months to help pay for the project.
