This is the weekend most Canadians switch from standard time to daylight time.
Before going to bed tomorrow night they’ll need to turn your clocks and watches ahead one hour.
The main Canadian exception is Saskatchewan, which is on standard time year-round.
However, this area is also the exception as we effectively remain on daylight time year-round.
That means, we don’t have to touch our time pieces but if you have a son or daughter going to school in Alberta, who relies on you, to get them up on time for classes on Monday morning, you’ll have to call at six to wake them up at seven.
That situation will continue until November first, when daylight time “officially” ends again.
