The Child Development Centre Arctech Welding and Machining A Day for the Kids Fundraiser is underway.
Last years’s event raised more than $40,000 for the CDC.
For 12 hours today, you’re encouraged to call our radio station at 250-787-7100, and donate to the CDC or online here at energeticcity-beta.mystagingwebsite.com.
This year, the CDC is raising funds for Project Build a Fort, which will double the size of the centre and give it new enhanced programs and services.
On Friday, the 35th annual Talent Show will be staged at the North Peace Cultural Centre and it’s hoped the two events this year will together raise, more than $200,000.
The show is free but CDC requests you make a donation to the centre or to the local Food Bank.
