Heritage Legacy funds local heritage projects

Two local heritage projects have been given a 30 thousand dollar boost by the BC150 Heritage Legacy Fund.

The Tumblar Ridge Museum Foundation will receive 20 thousand dollars to enhance the Tumbler Ridge and BC Heritage exhibits.

Almost 11 thousand dollars are going towards the Hudson’s Hope Historical Society for ‘Our Hudson’s Hope Cowboys: Packers on the Trail, the 75th Anniversary Celebration.’

The Heritage Legacy Fund of British Columbia Society administered the fund. The grants were awarded in support of BC150-related heritage projects ranging from special exhibits and events, to minor upgrades to heritage facilities. BC150 is the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Crown Colony of British Columbia in 1858.
