Hit and Run in Charlie Lake

The Fort St. John RCMP has confirmed a two vehicle crash last night in the Charlie Lake area, involved a small black car that fled the scene.

Police say the collision occurred at about seven o’clock just north of Charlie Lake, in the north bound passing lane on the Alaska Highway.

They also report the driver of a red truck, suffered undisclosed injuries, after the vehicle went out of control and rolled in the west side ditch.

The driver of the black car then continued northbound on the highway. Police are seeking public information input and, taking witness calls, at the local detachment and crime stoppers numbers…250-787-8140 and 1-800-222-8477.
