The North Peace Regional Airport seems to be doing well despite the recession.

He says aircraft movement went down five percent last year. He notes bad weather in the area and in Vancouver contributed to the decrease.
Mr. Tripp also says the rise in fuel prices accounts for the drop. The airport has also seen a few curtailments in flying by private aircraft owners due to the rising fuel prices.

Mr. Tripp says the airport has not yet been directly impacted by the recession and is remaining positive.
