He says aircraft movement went down five percent last year. He notes bad weather in the area and in Vancouver contributed to the decrease.
Mr. Tripp also says the rise in fuel prices accounts for the drop. The airport has also seen a few curtailments in flying by private aircraft owners due to the rising fuel prices.
Mr. Tripp says despite the decrease in aircraft movement last year, flight seat sales are doing quite well in ’09. [asset|aid=950|format=mp3player|formatter=asset_bonus|title=efc2bb95350fcff15033f8e349c49c42-Todd Tripp 2_2_Pub.mp3]
