Update: Power outages in Fort St. John

Power has been restored in both areas of the community.

The first outage occured at 9:14am this morning in an area South of the 246 Road, West of the 145 Road and East of the 275 Road.  The outage has been caused by a motor vehicle accident.  Power was restored at around 1:30pm.

The second outage was restored shortly before 11am and affected 125 customers in Fort St. John.  This outage was caused by a bird that came in contact with BC Hydro wires.  Power was out in this area for about 2 hours.
