An Edmonton youth charged in the death of another Edmonton youth, after an altercation in Fort St. John, has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.
As reported last May, the seventeen year old victim was found, in distress, on Sunday May 18th, at a Fort St. John apartment located, in the 89th hundredth block of 100th avenue.
She was taken to hospital, but later died as a result of her injuries.
Both the victim and the accused were 17 at the time of the death, which means there is a publication ban in effect.
The male will also be sentenced as youth, which means a maximum term of seven years in custody.
