Spirit of BC Week is a celebration of British Columbia and its unique communities. This year’s
celebrations have a special focus: the one-year countdown to the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic
Winter Games.
 
Each February during Spirit of BC Week, people come together to highlight local programs and
services, celebrate diverse cultures, and share their pride in their province.
 
Spirit of BC Week events and activities are organized by Spirit of BC community committees, in
partnership with local government, business, educators, First Nations and community-based
organizations.
 

Here are list of events happening in Fort St. John:

Saturday Feb 7 – Chocolate Festival – NPCC – Doors open at 6pm

Saturday Feb 7 – Fort St. John Arts Council Display – NPCC

Sunday Feb 8 – NP Leisure Pool Free Swim – NP Leisure Pool – 3pm to 5pm

Tuesday Feb 10 – Spelling Bee – Lido Theatre – 6pm to 9pm

Tuesday Feb 10 – Literacy Day – Leap, Hop, Move Workshop – Fort St. John Library 10:30a to 11:30a & 3:30p to 4:30p

Tuesday Feb 10 – WOW Bus – Donation of Backpacks from Oil & Gas Committee

Wednesday Feb 11 – NP Historical Society Movie “Peace in the Plenty” – Lido Theatre – 7pm

Friday Feb 13 – Arts Council Showcase – NPCC – 11am to 3pm

Friday Feb 13 – Spirit Week Luncheon – Volunteer Appreciation – NPCC – 12pm

Friday Feb 13 – Presentation from Carol Dixon “Volunteerism” – NPCC – 3:30pm to 5pm
