Tyler Cresswell added another goal giving the Flyers 3 points on the scoreboard. It looked like the Chiefs would prevail until Blair Karasuik put the puck through the pipes with two seconds remaining in the game. Five minutes of overtime failed to produce a winner so they moved into the shootout. Jade McMullin and Logan Daneluk were able to outmaneuver the Chiefs goalie to produce the winning point. Goalie, Derouin stymied two of the oppositions attempts to put the puck in the net.

The game ended 5-4 in favour of the Ft. St. John AA Bantam Flyers, tournament winners!

CORRECTION – It was actually the Slave Lake Thunder that Fort St. John beat in the final – not GP.
