BC’s new Energy Minister is flatly rejecting the NDP call for a moratorium on independent power projects.

The New Democrats want a ban on the IPP’S, while their cumulative impact is examined but Mr. Lekstrom notes, about half the 46 projects in question got their start when the New Democrats were in power.
