City council needs more time to amend a hazardous waste storage bylaw in Fort St. John.

A public hearing was held Monday night to question the zoning implications. Concerned resident Lita Powell says parts of the report are unclear. [asset|aid=848|format=mp3player|formatter=asset_bonus|title=74838eff995fff27a3dafd71cf9cd884-Lita Powell 1_1_Pub.mp3]

She says exact volume amounts of hazardous waste need to be defined, as well as outlined storage regulations. City Manager Dianne Hunter says existing commercial zones will be grandfathered in. Council will discuss the bylaw again on March 9th.
