The Flint bantam B Flyers were in Whitecourt for a tournament January 9-11. They played hard and had a great weekend.
We won our first game 6-1 against whitecourt, the goals for the game were scored by Justin Taylor, Derek donis, rikki warren, Blake giesbrecht, and Jayton Wieler scored 2 goals, with assists going to braylan eklund, Blake giesbrecht and braden donis
We lost our second game 7-4 against Drayton Valley, the goals were scored by Zach Zabinsky, Braylan Eklund, Justin Taylor and Braden Donis. The assists were by Jordan Eckel, Braden Donis, Calvin Sadowsky and Rikki Warren.
We tied our 3rd game against Grande praire 4-4. The goals were scored by, Jayton Wieler, Justin Taylor , and 2 goals scored by Blake Giesbrecht. The assists in this game went to Dylan de Medeiros, Matt davenport, Derek Donis and Braylan Eklund.
This game placed us in the finals – we ended up taking home 2nd place after a great game against Drayton Valley. We lost 5-3 our goals were scored by Jayton Wieler, Calvin Albersworth and Dylan de Medeiros. The assists went to Blake Giesbrecht , Braylan Eklund and Rikki Warren.
We have two home games this weekend. We play fairview at 4:00 on Saturday at the kids arena and Grande praire at 3:45 on Sunday at the kids arena.
