The Fort St. John Arts council is inviting residents to take part in the ice and snow carving events at this year’s high on Ice festival.
Taking place the weekend of January 17th and 18th, the competition has spaces for amateurs as well as professionals.
This year’s theme is "Ice Age: Frozen in Time" – which will allow carvers a fair bit of creative freedom. Teams for snow carving are 2-4 people – while ice-carving teams should be ideally 2 people, but they must both be 14 or over or have adult supervision.
To register a team, or for more info, you can call the ArtsPost at 787-2781, you can email [email protected], or you can visit http://www.cityfsj.com/hoi.html
